An Irish couple found a bottle when they were walking along the beach in 2022. “As soonas we found it, we knew that it was going to take us on an adventure.”said the couple.

　　Inside the bottle was a note written by an11-year-old boy named Sasha. In the note,he wrote something about fishing and his friend Wayne,and he left a phone number and asked the finder to “please call”.The couple tried calling him several times, but they couldn't get through.So they wrote to a newspaper in Ocean City. There a journalist(記者) put them in touch with Sasha's dad.

　　Sasha's dad, Vlad Yonyak,was surprised to hear his son's message in a bottle had been found. According to him,three years ago, Sasha and his 64-year-old friend Wayne, who has died， had put a note in a bottle off the side of a fishing boat when they were sailing near Ocean City. “This bottle reflects the friendship of Wayne and Sasha", Yonyak said, "and it also marks the start of a new friendship.”

　　When Yonyak told Sasha the Irish couple found his bottle. he was amazed to learn it had been found on a beach in Ireland. The couple said it meant a lot to find the bottle, and then find Sasha and hear his story. They will keep the bottle until Sasha can come and visit them in Ireland. Then they will put it back out to sea, with their new friend by their side.
