賓語從句
語序
從句用陳述句語序，即連接詞+主語+謂語+其他。如：I don't know where he lives.
連接詞
從屬連詞
that在從句中不充當(dāng)任何成分，只起連接作用，可省略。
如：I believe (that) April is the hottest month in Thailand.
if/whether在從句中作成分，不可省略。
如：I don't know whether he will come home for the festival or not.
He asked me if/whether I was from China.
連接代詞
what,which,who,whose,whom在從句中充當(dāng)主語、賓語、表語和定語等，不可省略。
如：We never know what will happen inthe future!
We used a watch to see who was the fastest.
連接副詞
when,where,why,how在從句中充當(dāng)狀語，不可省略。
如：I wonder how I should deal with myproblem.
I've finally realized why my grandparents loved drinking tea and collectingtea sets.
時態(tài)
需要性原則
當(dāng)主句為一般現(xiàn)在時，從句的時態(tài)視客觀需要而定。
如：I hear Joe left for Beijing yesterday.
They are talking about which team will win the basketball game.
呼應(yīng)性原則
主句是過去時，從句相應(yīng)用過去的某種時態(tài)。
如：Jane said she was shopping at this time yesterday.
He told me that he would take part in the high jump competition.
特殊性原則
表示客觀事實、真理或自然現(xiàn)象，無論主句是什么時態(tài)，從句都用一般現(xiàn)在時。
如：Our teacher said that the earth goes around the sun.
He told me that practice makes perfect.
疑問詞+不定式
“疑問詞+不定式”構(gòu)成不定式短語，這種結(jié)構(gòu)可在句子中作主語、賓語、表語等。用于該結(jié)構(gòu)的疑問詞有what,which,when,where,how。
如：I really don't know what to write about.
