too/either/also

　　(1) too作副詞,意為"也",一般位于句尾,其前常用逗號(hào),如果用于句中,則too的前后通常都加逗號(hào).too也可表示"太,過分",用來修飾形容詞或副詞.

　　I like English. He likes English, too.

　　(2)also多用于實(shí)義動(dòng)詞之前,系動(dòng)詞,助動(dòng)詞,情態(tài)動(dòng)詞之后,一般用于句子.如果在否定詞中,also要位于否定詞之前,而不能位于否定詞之后.

　　My father is a worker. My mother is also a worker.

　　He can do the work. I also can do the work.

　　(3)too不用于否定句中,一般只用于肯定句和疑問句,在否定句中用either.一般用于句末,其前用逗號(hào)隔開.

　　I'm not a doctor. He is not a doctor, either.

　　They can't play football. We can't play football, either.

　　too還可表示"太,過分".構(gòu)成詞組: too…to…意為"太…而不能…".此時(shí)可用"not … enough to…"或"so… that…"代替.

　　My brother is too young to go to school.

　　My brother isn't old enough to go to school.

　　My brother is so young that he can't go to school.
